In Bangladesh, teens are often not engaged in community service activities and lack leadership skills. This is because volunteering is not a priority among high-schoolers in Tamzid's community. Further skills like teamwork and public speaking are also not integrated into their curricula. Therefore, the changemaker wants to start a chain of multiple high-school clubs that are focused on non-profit work. This will allow teens to organize their own social activities they believe will have an impact on the community. Through these clubs, Tamzid hopes to not only encourage the youth to get more involved, but also hopes they will gain important skills such as teamwork and public speaking. His activities aim to reach over 500 children in his community!
