Do you want to create a positive change in your locality by creating awareness to say no to plastic? Join us!!
Aim- Promoting the use of paper and cloth alternatives over plastic bags.
What to do-
All participants have to engage with their community members, and teach them how to make paper and cloth bags. Photos and videos of the same have to be submitted. The bags thus made can be distributed among people from slum areas, villages, or can be given to people in vegetable markets, etc. Photos and videos of the same can also be submitted.
Other ways to raise awareness, IN ADDITION with those above, may include making posters, giving speeches, through music, etc.
-All volunteers who successfully complete the above tasks will get a certificate of participation in this activity by State of Youth Chandigarh.
Important-
-All interested individuals have to fill in a form. All selected individuals will be notified within 3 working days.
-All submissions have to be made to the same email account through which you will be notified of your selection.
-Volunteers who need help in knowing how to make paper bags can mention the same in the form. An online session will be planned for you, the timings of which will be notified beforehand.
