Step into the vibrant world of our Rotaract Club! We’re a dynamic collective of international and Dutch young professionals and students, fuelled by a shared passion to make a positive impact in our communities and beyond. With a strong focus on service, leadership, and friendship, as well as international bonds, we’re on a mission to shape a better world through various projects, events, and initiatives. At the heart of our club beats the belief in the transformative power of united action. With our diverse backgrounds, skills, and perspectives, we address local and global challenges, spanning from education over healthcare and environmental sustainability to social justice. One exciting way we are making an impact is through our engaging fundraising events. These events provide us with opportunities to come together, have fun, and support meaningful causes. For example, we organized a legendary padel competition that took the thrill of the game to new heights, all while raising funds to support people in Turkey that were affected by the devastating earthquakes in February 2023. And let’s not forget our laughter-infused comedy event, where rib-tickling moments joined forces with a good cause to provide life-saving vaccinations for children. Yet, Rotaract goes beyond mere service – it’s an incredible avenue for personal growth and meaningful connections, too. By joining our club, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, expand your professional and social network, and forge lifelong friendships with kindred spirits who share a passion for making a difference. To strengthen our internal bonds and to create common memories, our Rotaract Club organizes social events as well. From exhilarating bike tours exploring the beauty of our surroundings such as the Amsterdamse Bos to relaxed and enjoyable borrels, these gatherings provide a platform to unwind, foster friendships, and build a strong community. We also love expanding our horizons beyond local borders. Our Rotaract Club participates in international meetings and official Rotaract events such as the EUCO. These gatherings serve as incredible platforms where diverse cultures come together, friendships are forged, and ground-breaking ideas are born. Central in our club is the fostering of an inclusive and welcoming environment, where every voice is valued and respected.
