Do you have a knack for building and love working with wood and tools? We're looking for help reassembling our birding platform at Great Salt Pond.
Do you have a knack for building and love working with wood and tools? We're looking for volunteers to help us reassemble our birding platform at Great Salt Pond in Philipsburg, which was put away for storage during the hurricane season. You'll be accompanied by 3-4 staff members from the Nature Foundation and can volunteer for as much or little time as you'd need. We will be working with plywood, screws, and power drills.
DATE : To be decided, likely the week of 3-7 November
TIME : 7:30-9:30 AM
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Over 18 years old
- Experience using power tools and doing light construction
- Comfortable working in hot/humid conditions
