NIPA is pleased to see the work done by volunteers on St. Maarten and to honour their dedication to various worthy causes on the island, NIPA is offering all volunteers free oil/filter change services. This is our way of saying thank you for your hard work and for us to hone the skills of our students.
Our students will under the guidance of our Automotive Department teaching team will carry out the oil/filter changes.
You will have to walk with your vehicle’s required oil and filters and we will provide the labour to change.
Your requests should be accompanied by a letter of support from the organization that you volunteer with. The oil/filter changes will be done on a first come basis. Looking forward to helping St. Maarten’s helpers.

The National Institute for Professional Advancement (NIPA) offers advanced vocational education for students who want to further their education after secondary schools and adults already in the workforce. Our programs are tailored to the needs and interests of the labour market and the wider St. Maarten community.
Currently managed by director Sergio Blomont, NIPA is the only government-recognized institute for advanced vocational and technical education in St. Maarten.
Apprenticeships vary from short (partial qualifications over a few weeks) to full levels, up to 4 years, and cover many relevant areas. See our courses for more information.
